Sheetz Frozen Drinks, Refresherz & Smoothies 2026 Guide
Sheetz’s cold drink menu has four parts, all ordered at the kiosk or in the app:
- Freezes: slushies that pour from the machine.
- Frozen lemonade.
- Refresherz: fruit drinks you build with energy, popping “Bubblez” and cold foam.
- Smoothiez: blended fruit drinks, plus protein and Red Bull versions.
Calories run from about 60 for an 8 oz freeze to 500+ for a large frozen lemonade or a loaded Refresher.
Calories come from Sheetz’s own nutrition page where it lists them, and from public nutrition databases that carry Sheetz data. Builds change often, so check your exact drink in the app.

Sheetz Refresherz
Sheetz added Refresherz in 2021. They’ve since become one of the chain’s biggest drink categories. Trade coverage this summer named Sheetz as one of the convenience chains leading the refresher boom.
The idea is simple: pick a fruit flavor, then build on it. Your options include:
- An energy boost, for caffeine.
- Bubblez, Sheetz’s flavored popping pearls.
- Cold foam on top.
Sheetz’s category manager described the drink as whatever the guest wants it to be. In practice, two people can order the same flavor and get very different drinks.
Best-selling flavors: Sparkling Strawberry, Mango Peach and Blue Raspberry.
New in 2026: Dragon Berry Peach, Peach Chai and Strawberry Dragonfruit. Limited runs rotate in for holidays. For July 4th, Sheetz ran a Red, White and Blue Sh’parkler made with Sparkling Strawberry, vanilla cold foam and sprinkles.

A large Refresher is 24 oz. The spread in that table is the main thing to know: the same “large Refresher” can mean 165 calories or 520. If you’re watching sugar, check the build in the app before you pay. Your add-ins change the total.
What do Bubblez cost?
When Sheetz first rolled out mango popping bubbles, they were a $1.79 add-on. They worked in any lemonade or Refresher, including the Red Bull version. That price is from the launch, so check the app for your store’s current upcharge.
The pearls are made from tapioca or cassava starch filled with sweet syrup, and they burst when you bite them. This isn’t the chewy boba you get at a tea shop.
Red Bull Refresherz
If you want the energy without a coffee drink, the Red Bull Refresherz are the lighter pick:

The plain build comes in at less than half the calories of most fruit Refresherz. Flavors stack quickly, though: Peach Pie lands more than double the base.
Freezes (Sheetz Slushies)
This is the self-serve frozen machine. Sheetz lists these on its official nutrition page, per 8 oz:

Two things to keep in mind:
- These figures are per 8 oz, and freeze cups are much bigger. Multiply by your cup size to get the real number.
- The Mountain Dew Freeze has caffeine. Sheetz lists 20mg per 8 oz, which matters if you’re getting one for a kid late at night.
Flavors on the machine vary by store, and the self-serve setup lets you mix them.

Frozen lemonade is the heaviest of the fruity frozen drinks: a large carries about eight times the calories of an 8 oz freeze. Bubblez work here too.
Sheetz Smoothiez
Smoothiez are blended to order. The current mix splits three ways:

- Fruit smoothies like Strawberry Banana are the biggest drinks here.
- The Protein Smoothie is the lightest, and it’s the only one with meaningful protein.
- The Red Bull Smoothie adds caffeine. It doesn’t add any protein.
New for fall 2026: a grab-and-go Blueberry Açaí Smoothie Cup with dragonfruit, açaí, blueberries, vanilla Greek yogurt and chia pudding. Sheetz lists it at 15g protein and 7g fiber. It’s a cup from the cooler, not a blended kiosk drink.
You’ll see peanut butter Smoothiez listed online at around 1,600 calories with 129g of fat. Those numbers don’t hold up, so we’ve left them out. Check a peanut butter build in the app if you’re curious.

How to Order Smarter
- Size down first. Going from large to medium on frozen lemonade saves 100 calories.
- Price the extras. Bubblez and cold foam add cost, and foam adds calories. The kiosk shows both before checkout.
- Check caffeine before you build. Energy-boosted and Red Bull drinks are caffeinated. So is the Mountain Dew Freeze.
- Use the app for your store’s lineup. Seasonal and limited flavors rotate, and stores don’t all carry the same machine flavors.

Does Sheetz have slushies?
Yes. Sheetz calls them Freezes. You’ll find Fruitworks flavors like Blue Raspberry, Cherry and Orange Cream, plus Mountain Dew Freezes. Each is about 60 calories per 8 oz.
Does Sheetz have boba?
Sheetz sells Bubblez, popping pearls you add to Refresherz and lemonades. These burst when you bite them. They aren’t the chewy tapioca boba served at tea shops.
Are Sheetz Refresherz caffeinated?
